Depart The USA
Rio de Janeiro here you come.... time to get to the airport for your Tam Brazilian Airline flight to sunny Rio de Janeiro.
Enjoy Tam's excellent in flight service and modern, well-maintained Airbus fleet. Jet down to the Southern Hemisphere and start to feel your muscles relax and your imagination take flight!
Day 2
Arrival in Rio De Janeiro
Early morning arrival in Rio de Janeiro, the “Cidade Maravilhosa”. You will be met and transferred to your hotel and check in for your stay. Take it easy today, just relax and stroll around Copacabana and IpanemaBeaches. Samples the cold beer or coconut water sold at the beachside stands, watch the world go by. You’re in Rio!
Tonight it’s time to venture and see for yourself just how exciting Rio’s fabled nightlife really is. Whether it’s a jazz club in Ipanema, a samba show in Copacabana, a dance club in Old Rio or just a sumptuous meal in one of the city’s great restaurants, you are sure to have a ball!
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro - Time to Explore
Time to go touring! Today you'll need to leave the beach - at least for a -while - to enjoy your half day guided tour of Rio.
You'll start by driving along the city's beaches until you reach the base of CorcovadoMountain. Once there you'll board a cogwheel train to start the ascent to the mountain top, passing through lush Tijuca Rainforest along the way. Once you reach the top you'll be awed by the 360 degree view of one of the world's most beautiful cities. Smile, you're in Rio de Janeiro!
Day 4
Rio De Janeiro - Rest and Relaxation
Let’s assume you’ll be sleeping a little late today, as last night might have found you at a samba club or one of the other many nocturnal attractions of this vibrant city, but don’t miss the fantastic buffet Brazilian Breakfast served by your hotel… fruits, cheeses, eggs, meats, pastries. Wow!
This afternoon may be your last in Rio (oh no!) and if so then you will get ready later this evening for your transfer back to the airport and your flight to the US.
But maybe you’ve decided to stay on?
Day 5
Back in the USA .... or Not?
Okay, so you DID decide to stay on, that’s great!
Now all you have to do is decide whether you are going to stay in Rio for more night or head off to some of the other incredible destinations waiting for you with this fantastic promotion.
How about the nearby beach resort of Buzios or historical Parati (both are inexpensive, and there is no need to fly!). Or perhaps you are lured to the exotic cites and beaches of the Northeast, including Salvador, Jericoacoara and Porto de Galinhas. Then of course eco adventure awaits in the Amazon or Pantanal.
